Are you a graphic designer, a design student or somebody who can make charming designs with fantastic visionary skills? This is your chance! Women in Film & Television Finland ry (WIFT Finland) announces an open call for its logo and brand contest!
Women in Film & Television Finland (WIFT Finland) is politically independent, cultural and professional not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to promote its members’ professional activities, education, professional achievements, networking, and to act as a promoter of Finnish film, television and the moving image culture from the gender equality perspective. WIFT Finland works in collaboration with other cultural and moving image organizations, as well as maintains relations with similar associations abroad and participates in international activities in its fields of operation.
The brand and logo should be Scandinavian fresh but we are also open for other ideas. The logo needs to contain at least one of the following names of the association: Women in Film & Television Finland ry / WIFT Finland ry / WIFT Finland / WIFT.
The logo and brand will be a big part of WIFT Finland visual identification and the association’s image. This also means that the logo will be visible everywhere and can be a nice addition to its designer’s CV.
The contest is open to any private persons, associations, communities or registered companies in Finland and overseas. The winner will be chosen by WIFT Finland board in August 2014. The board holds all the rights not to choose a winner after the contest. WIFT Finland will get exclusive rights to use and utilise the winner logo and brand in any ways it finds suitable. WIFT Finland has the right to further develop the logo and the brand and to modify them for any reasons necessary. WIFT Finland also has the right not to use the logo and the brand.
In addition to the fame and glory, the winner will receive 250 euros. The prize is subjective to taxation according to the Finnish taxation law. All entries will need to be original and the contest entrant has to hold all the rights to the design.
