Where are the girls and women on screen? Do they exist only as side characters in a man’s world? What roles are there for women, other than wife, whore and mother? Half of humankind is female, but there does not seem to be enough room for female leads, especially after a certain age.
Women in Film & Television Finland ry invites film professionals from Finland and Sweden to have a discussion from both the filmmakers’ and audience’s point of view. In the panel we will have Swedish actress – director Lisa Werlinder (Munich, Gossip, A Song for Martin).
